Why VitalSync exists
A small note on what we're building, who it's for, and why we think the internet needs one more honest place.
The problem
Health and beauty reviews are broken. Feeds are flooded with paid influencer posts dressed up as personal recommendations. Amazon ratings quietly inflate through review farms. TikTok miracle cures come with discount codes. Wellness marketing preys especially hard on women over 30 — anxiety about aging, hormones, and metabolism packaged into a checkout cart.
Research suggests the average beauty shopper now reads 12+ reviews before buying, and that more than half don't actually trust what they read. That's a staggering amount of time spent not believing the thing you're reading. Meanwhile, there's no single trusted place to hear what actually worked for real people — across supplements, skincare, sleep, gut, and clinics — without the review being part of somebody's ad budget.
We kept looking for that place. It didn't exist. So we decided to build it.

Our answer
VitalSync is a community-owned, anonymous-by-default, AI-moderated, FTC-transparent home for real health and beauty reviews. Members post under pseudonyms so honesty isn't career-risky. Every submission is run through automated checks for spam, misinformation, and undisclosed promotion — with human review on anything borderline.
Every sponsored post, affiliate link, and paid placement is labeled in line with FTC guidelines. Ratings can't be bought. The community ranks brands; the platform never does. Real people, real journeys, no influencer machine in the middle.

Transparency over hype
If it's sponsored, it says so. If we earn a commission, we disclose it. If a claim is shaky, we flag it.
Community over creators
No influencer tiers, no verified-checkmark hierarchies. Everyone posts anonymously on equal footing.

Ratings can't be bought. Brands are ranked by the community — never by their ad spend.

FTC-first commerce
Every affiliate link, sponsored listing, and partnership is disclosed per 16 CFR Part 255. No exceptions.
Launch seeding
Like every new community, we started with structure — 100 seed discussions based on real public patterns from health forums, paraphrased to respect copyright, posted by clearly-labeled launch accounts. As real members join, their voices replace the seed. This is the same approach used by Reddit, Quora, and most major forums in their early days.

Who we are
We're a small independent team. We don't take VC money that requires us to compromise our community. We're building the platform we wish existed — and we'd rather stay anonymous as a team so the community, not the founders, stays the story.
