is dairy elimination worth the social cost if i only see mild improvement?

3 weeks off dairy has been ~20% skin improvement. enough to notice, not enough to change my life. social stuff (restaurants, friends) is awkward. do you all just go full elimination and accept it, or find a middle path (e.g. no cheese but cream in coffee)? how'd you decide?
